ROUDNICE NAD LABEM (CZ)  is a town in the Ústí nad Labem Region in the Czech Republic, on the left bank of the Elbe River, 40 kilometres north of Prague. It has a population of approximately 13,000 and covers an area of 16.67 km². The town is situated near the site of Říp, the hill connected with the legend of Praotec Čech.

Roudnice nad Labem has a very long and rich history. It is one of the oldest Czech towns; the original name Rúdnik / Rúdnica comes from the red-colored water of a nearby spring. The first appearances of the city in written records are dated to 1167 and 1176, but the first signs of a settlement in the area are from the prehistoric ages.

HC KRNOV VS. WHITBY WILDCATS

KRNOV (CZ) is an Upper Silesian town in the northeastern Czech Republic, in the Moravian-Silesian Region, the District of Bruntál. It lies at the confluence of the rivers Opava and Opavice, near the Polish border. The population is  23,473 (2018).

The area has been inhabited almost without interruption since the stone age. Its history stretches back to the 13th century when Krnov acquired town rights. The town was founded in 1221 and served as the capital of an independent duchy from 1377 to 1523. From 1938 to 1945 it was one of the municipalities in Sudetenland.

Krnov has an 18th-century castle, several churches and abbeys as well as a lookout tower from 1903. The Krnov Synagogue is one of the few large synagogues to have survived the Nazi occupation of Europe.

HC JASZTREBIE VS. WHITBY WILDCATS

JASTRZEBIE – ZDROJ (POL) is a city in south Poland with 89,128 inhabitants. Its name comes from the Polish words jastrząb and zdrój. Until the 20th century it was a spa village situated in Upper Silesia. In the early 1980s, the city was one of main centers of workers’ protests, which resulted in creation of Solidarity.
